“Discussing Race with Young Children” is a tool that parents, educators, and other caregivers can use to have age-appropriate conversations with children, from about two to six years old, about race and racism.
To inform the creation of this guide, we worked with top researchers and surveyed 15,000 families from across the United States to better understand how they approach conversations on race and racism. “Discussing Race” is the product of years of partnership, conversations, meetings, and collaboration with Nickelodeon and Noggin, as well as our partners at Content for Change.
